The Peak Tram

The Peak Tram was first opened in 1888, it was considered an engineering wonder for its time and has survived for over a century to now have become one of the most famous landmarks of Hong Kong. Over the years it has been modified to become what it is today. 

An upgrade of the carriage and station is on the way and soon a new chapter of the Peak Trams life is going to begin. This change prompted us at Blue Lotus to have a closer look at this historic landmark in its past and present through photos from the Blue Lotus collection and photos by Matthew Ng.
