"THE WEIGHT OF SILHOUETTE" tells a series of forgotten stories from Hong Kong over the past four years, captured by various photographers under the collective name ‘Ménos’. This exquisite red cloth-bound book, also available as a limited special edition with a collection of small prints, follows the previous publication, "Prologue - Hong Kong Street," released in 2019. It marks a shift from documentary to a more abstract approach, embracing diverse voices and photographic styles while creating a harmonious and relatable narrative of Hong Kong as told by insiders.
Established in 2018, Ménos aims to promote local photography and facilitate cultural exchanges. Over the years, they have organized photography sharing sessions, community activities for young people and the elderly, and various publications.
